Coach Gabe Reed
Coach Gabe started training with us at Headkicks at just 14 years old. He immediately took a loving to JiuJitsu and grappling. He wrestled at St. Thomas More high school, adding to his grappling skills. Over the years, Gabe has competed in countless wrestling tournaments, JiuJitsu tournaments, and 3 MMA fights, amassing a 2 – 1 amateur MMA record at 145lbs, and holds the rank of Purple Belt in JiuJitsu. Coach Gabe is a talented athlete, but his real gifting comes in his coaching. Coach Gabe coaches wrestling at his alma mater STM, he is also our Lunch JiuJitsu Instructor and JiuJitsu 101 Instructor at Headkicks. He is active on the mats and in the gym, he coaches some of our Foundations Kickboxing classes and he is a certified Personal Trainer, doing 1 on 1 and small group personal training sessions to help clients meet their goals. Gabe is a hard round for anyone on the mats, but an amazing Coach and helper in the academy. He is our Head Referee at our large Submission Quest BJJ Tournaments we hold quarterly. You can find Gabe here at Headkicks in the early morning with clients, at lunch Coaching JiuJitsu, and also in evening 101 classes.
